THE BRAINBOX SOLUTION
To address this challenge, Brainbox developed the Heart of a Warrior (HOAW) program. This initiative was designed to celebrate and recognize student athletes who embody the Army’s values and demonstrate the spirit of a warrior. The program aimed to honor those who:

Each nominated student athlete received a custom-designed plaque to commemorate their nomination. The plaque featured the nominee’s name, picture, school, and date that the award was presented. It also has the area in which they were nominated, for example “the Massachusetts area,” and a description of the qualities that the award recognizes.

- The plaques served as a tangible recognition of the students’ hard work and dedication, proudly displayed as a testament to their exemplary character.

EVENT RESULTS
The Heart of a Warrior campaign has made a significant impact over the past three years:
- Nominees: 24 outstanding student athletes were nominated, each demonstrating exceptional qualities aligned with the program’s values. These nominees came from around the country, highlighting the widespread nature of the campaign.
- Votes: The campaign generated over 6,000 votes from friends, family, and community members, reflecting strong community engagement and support.
- Recognition: $2,000 was given out in the form of scholarships to the nominated students, providing them with meaningful recognition and financial support for their future endeavors. This encouraged them to continue living with the Warrior Spirit and inspired others to do the same.
