Senior Marketing Activation Manager

Do you enjoy sports, travel, planning and executing events from beginning to end and delivering results for national clients? The candidate that fills this position will do all those things and more with other Activation Managers locally and across America. Our marketing professionals secure digital and onsite event space for our clients and activate client-specific promotions at both digital and experiential events that include football games, sports clinics and marketing activations. Responsibilities include both individual and team leadership of strategic planning, building and executing digital and experiential marketing plans, negotiation of onsite presence, coordination for and shipping of event materials, scheduling and participating in event activities, social and digital media planning, providing post-event reporting and continuous and cross-functional problem solving.

The Senior Marketing Activation Manager ensures our clients have visibility, positive interaction with their audience and experience positive results. Skills required include the ability to anticipate project needs, determine priorities and interact with clients frequently. The Senior Marketing Activation Manager position involves travel and is responsible for day-to-day administration and reporting of projects, travel and logistics arrangements, budgeting, staff planning and execution, documenting results through written reports and engaging content (photos / videos / copy) on event websites and social media. This is a full-time position with growth potential into company leadership positions, based on performance.

You will work with one of our various marketing activation teams. BBIM covers travel expenses.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership experience required
  • Experiential marketing management experience preferred
  • Event planning and direction a plus
  • A strong desire to be the best at what you do and help others do the same
  • The ability and desire to enjoy what you do and help others do the same
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build lasting relationships with clients and fellow employees
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University preferred
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of social and digital media
  • Willingness to travel Willingness to travel as required and work occasional evenings and weekends
  • Must be able to pass drug and background screen
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds

If you live and breathe social and digital marketing, we want to talk to you. We are looking for a highly creative Digital Marketing Activation Manager to join our growing team. In this position, you will be part of a team responsible for all aspects of our digital and social marketing operations. Your duties will include developing, implementing, tracking, monitoring, and optimizing our digital marketing campaigns across all digital networks.

Our ideal candidate is someone with experience in digital marketing, graphic design, copywriting, social media management and marketing analytics. The candidate must be adept at individual and team leadership of strategic planning, development of digital and social presence, coordination of digital marketing campaigns as well as conducting analysis and reporting its conclusions as part of continuous cross-functional problem solving for our clients. In addition to the candidate being a social and digital marketing guru, we are looking for an outstanding communicator, with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and a passion for the future of marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee our digital marketing campaigns which include marketing automation, email marketing, SEO/SEM, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Develop, monitor and adjust campaign budgets
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence for internal and external campaigns
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and optimize spend and performance based on those trends
  • Work within the team to brainstorm new and creative growth strategies for the BRAINBOX Digital Marketing Group
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create email copy, gated content, landing pages, forms, and content that optimizes the user experience through the customer journey
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Design and develop conversion points and optimize user funnels
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners as required
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Requirements:

  • BS/MS degree in marketing, communications or a related field
  • Proven work experience in digital marketing (3-5 years preferred)
  • Highly creative with ability to write copy and thought leadership content
  • Experience with Microsoft applications, photo & video editing software, and modern internet browsers. Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign a plus
  • Strong understanding of digital automation (SharpSpring, HubSpot experience preferred)
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing marketing automation database, email, SEO/SEM, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments and conversion tests
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn) best practices and analytics (Hootesuite, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Up-to-date on latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement
  • Ability to anticipate project needs and discern work priorities
  • Willingness to travel as required and work occasional evenings and weekends
  • Must be able to pass drug and background screen
