Our History

BRAINBOX Immersive Marketing (BBIM) is a  Holistic Marketing Solutions Agency. But, this was not always the case. Founded in 1999 as iHigh.com, the Company specialized in creating a revolutionary and first-ever national website Network for high schools in partnership with the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS). As an Internet startup, iHigh was a first-to-market idea that resulted in a Network of over 10,000 high school websites and 34 state Association marketing sponsorships in the first 18 months. This first-of-its-kind marketing approach changed the landscape of high school sports marketing.

In response to the dot-com crash in 2001, iHigh.com evolved into iHigh Marketing Inc., and the firm refocused on its ability to reach the youth and young adult market through live events while maintaining its digital roots with marketing that engaged the youth and family markets around its connection to high schools nationwide. This brought about the creation of the now 19+ year marketing program, the Great American Rivalry Series (GARS), which in 2021 completed its 1000th activation. BRAINBOX created GARS to help brands gain awareness. As a GARS sponsor, brands get associated with one of the largest fan bases in America and allows brands to access untapped, younger audiences and connect with these customers on a more personal level.
 
In this same period of transition, BBIM created repeatable and effective marketing programs around fitness with the Navy SEALS, the US Marines, and the US Army, which are still utilized to this day. Our creative minds also created a broad range of marketing concepts involving insurance, auto, commercial products, and health-focused campaigns for the youth and young adult audience. 

The company sought to create a series of properties and events that solved key problems for top brands and helped them reach their target audiences in new and innovative ways. To complete that transition to a larger audience, iHigh repositioned itself as BRAINBOX Immersive Marketing in 2015 to provide clients holistic marketing services for various industries across the nation. This evolution has continued to expand our reach and impact.
