The candidate that will fill this position must manage marketing activations and other activation team members locally and across America. Our marketing professionals secure onsite space for our clients and activate client-specific promotions at experiential events. Responsibilities include both individual and team leadership experiential marketing events and their marketing plan, negotiation of onsite presence, driving participation in event activities, coordination for and shipping of marketing materials, social and digital media activation, coordination and execution of event setup and tear down, post-event reporting and continuous cross-functional problem solving.

The Activation Manager ensures our clients have visibility, positive interaction with their audience and achieve positive results. Activation Manager skills include the ability to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, willingness to travel frequently, and working occasional evenings and weekends. The Activation Manager is responsible for day-to-day administration and reporting of projects, travel and logistics arrangements, budget and staffing planning and execution, maintaining company vehicles and event equipment, documenting results through written reports, creating and delivering engaging content (photos / video / posts) to event websites and/or social media, and growth of the company as an integral member of the team. This is a temporary / full-time position. The candidate who fills this position will be considered for permanent positions should they become available.

BBIM covers travel expenses.

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership experience required
• Event management or coordination experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build lasting relationships with clients
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University preferred
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
